Compare and Contrast Dissertation on the North and South

The United States ahead of the civil conflict was basically split into two regions, the North plus the South. These two regions got very different cultures, economics, and climates which led to several life styles and perspectives. Problems caused by the differences between the North and the Southern region eventually led the nation in a great municipal war- the bloodiest warfare in American history. The North and South experienced diverse weather and all-natural features. The North had mainly rocky and barren, sterile lands with humid high seasons and arctic winters, therefore farming was difficult. Fast paced rivers and waterfalls were common in the North because of the many mountain range. As a result, Northerners started to employ waterpower to run factories. In the meantime, in the South, the weather was usually popular and sunny, with lots of rain fall, making the growing months longer. The South's royaume were accent than the North's, making it an even more ideal place for farming. The North and Southern population was very different. The Northern population between the years 1800 and 1860 elevated massively. Due to large amounts of immigrates coming from Europe, the North's population increased from five million to thirty-one million. The South's populace, on the other hand, was made up generally of enslaved Africans. By simply 1860, a third, out of twelve million people in the South, was slaves. The surroundings in the North and To the south led it is citizens to live in contrasting locations. In the North, the congested and soiled cities over the Atlantic coastline served since centers of trade and drew laborers to operate towns. When streets were improved and police forces were developed, cities became the center of art, lifestyle, and education. In the Southern, however , their economy was based on culture.
